Ian Chan
Co-owner / Project Manager
Ian is Guelph born and raised. He grew up in the Exhibition Park neighbourhood and always stayed close. From a young age, he learned to value hard work and integrity through his very ambitious, self-employed parents. Growing up, Ian assisted with fixing up the house and DIY renovation projects, learning from those around him. There weren’t many weekends off in the Chan household. Hockey was also a very important part of Ian’s earlier years. He played rep hockey throughout his childhood and continued with Junior B on the Guelph Hurricanes afterwards.
Ian began his home improvement career with electrical work. After a couple years of learning and apprenticing, he decided to make the jump on his own. Rather than electrical, he decided to take a wider approach. Through hard work, extreme attention to detail and a passion for what he does, Ian was able to create a business with the help of those around him. Ian loves working with people and creating real relationships with his clients. For Ian, the most rewarding part of the building and renovation process is working closely alongside clients and watching their excitement as projects come to a close.
Miles Cox
Co-Owner / Site Superintendent
Miles is a third generation Guelphite. Like Ian, Miles also spent his younger years in Exhibition Park before transitioning to the edge of town on a farm. It was there he started working with his hands repairing equipment, building structures and developing his diverse and deep set of skills. He found creative ways to do the work on a budget and get things done on time to keep the place rolling. Miles has always been very active in his community throughout his lacrosse career playing for Mississauga Jr A, Guelph and Halton Hills Jr. B. In Miles’ spare time, he continues to be involved in various team sports and spend time outdoors.
Miles spent many years honing his craft working alongside experienced tradespeople and carpenters. Miles' exacting eye will not let him settle for less than the best on any project and he will put in the extra work to make sure the job is perfect. He listens deeply to his clients to hear their vision and brings wonderful and innovative ideas to the table. Miles loves what he does, and it shines through his warm smile and the thoughtful and kind way he conducts himself on his projects.
